The Fund for Visual Learning made my transition into being a Studio Art major possible. Without the fund I would not have been able to get all of the materials needed for my courses, specifically Painting and Printmaking.

In painting we worked primarily with oil paint which is-expansive- to say the least as well as the brushes. Printmaking uses a lot of different tools all of which I was able to get with the fund and would not have been able to buy on my own. But most importantly I can use these brushes, paint and tools, outside of those classes, so I can still keep making things without having to worry about a lack of funds.
